My name is Mr. Mata and this is my first year teaching first grade in a bilingual classroom. I find technology very important and a very efective tool in the classroom. It is important for students to learn how to read, write, and learn their mathematics as best as possible. Lecturing and doing hands on activities is a great strategy but being able to integrate computers and other technology just enlights children more and prepares them for the futurre. As we know techonlogyg is advancing every day, as it advances children need to be prepared as it is commonly said "children are our future".
